YouTube viewers need to do this to generate income for YouTubers
If you have any concerns about the YouTubers, viewers need to change the Automatic video play update off in the settings option. Now, in the present scenario, YouTubers need to say, if you're watching this video on the home screen. Just click the video, then only views will be counted, watch time will be boosted, if it's a monetized channel, we will get the earnings.
Earlier, YouTubers used to say, if you like this channel like share and subscribe. But now this is not the current situation of the YouTubers. Because YouTube came up with a new updation of automatically playing the videos on the home screen. If we're watching a video on the home screen, we can skip the video wherever we can, but this will not add up to any view counts and watch counts. So the creators behind these initiatives are not getting what they wanted and their hard way of effort are all going to be pointless.
This not only affects YouTubers but also YouTube. If YouTube is getting 45% from this, they are giving 55% to the creators. So it is useless for both YouTube and YouTubers. All are disheartened with this new updation of YouTube. So don't get discouraged and there is a way to tackle this situation.
Here's the solution:-
1. Click your channel icon
2. Go to settings
3. Click the General option
4. Select the Playback in feeds option
5. After that, click the off option
If you want to make sure of this, just go back and check the home screen, now it won't be played until we click the play. There will be ads, views will be counted, revenue can generate, watch time will also get. So, this is in the hands of viewers, not the creators. Just click this off option before watching a video. We should join our hands together to cancel this YouTube updation through platforms like Twitter to raise our voices against our concerns regarding this issue, they will understand our difficulties and will remove this update soon.
